Diesel Corsetto Corset: Corsets have never been an item that has brought any sort of excitement to me, and I feel pretty safe to say that this is true for all women. And although they ultimately result in your body transforming into an hour glass figure, they are excessively restricting and super uncomfortable. But behold, the modern day corset. Less restricting and more fashionable. The Diesel Corsetto Corset is made to worn over anything from form fitting t-shirts, blouses to dresses. And if you are feeling adventurous, I would even try this over a form fitting coat just to experiment. Made of twill cotton and accented with leather ribs and three buckles, it has a touch of rock star edge mixed with high fashion chic. Dimensions: 6" wide at front and 3" in back. Price: $147.
Motif 56 Zara Belt Stripe: I am a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to belts. I tend to stick with black and brown knowing that it will always match whatever I am wearing. But there are times when a girl just has to step a bit closer to the edge to liven up an outfit and uplift the spirits. I like this Zara belt by Motif 56 but to be honest, I have no idea what I would wear it with that would make me feel comfortable. And this is not said to knock the beauty of this belt, it speaks to my hesitation to embrace colorful belts into my wardrobe. But I am trying. This elastic red and creme belt may be the step in the right direction. Measurements: 4" in width. Price: $120.
Sonia Rykiel Striped Belt: As much as I have tried not like pink, I do. It is all around me. My daughter loves pink (what 6 yo doesn’t?) and no lie, her entire room is pink and her whole wardrobe. Luckily, the little one is becoming more accepting of other colors and is actually wearing different colored clothing. I’ve find myself more drawn to pink lately. It is soft and feminine and looks great with brown (my favorite color for clothing). I guess my daughter’s dedication to pink has hit a soft spot in my because I saw this belt and instantly thought of her. Sonia Rykiel Striped Belt is fun and adds a touch of the little girl in all of us. Price: $92.

Treesje Ruffle Belt: When I initially saw this belt I thought it was a leather cuff. I realize that is impossible being that the model's hand is obviously at her side, but as you can see, my mind is everywhere and nowhere all at once. Treesje's Ruffle Belt is adorable yet sophisticated. The light green color is muted and simple, while the ruffle accents offer a playful, girlie touch. BI Vintage Belt: Brooklyn Industries Fall 2006 lineup is here! There are so many great pieces available that it was difficult to choose one to feature - so get ready for more BI products featured during the week. This distressed belt has a slight rough, rugged, and masculine feel without being overpowering in size. Pair with great fitting jean for a chic yet casual outfit. Price: $36.
Eugenia Alligator Belt: I know that some will say it is ethically wrong to use the skin of animals for accessories - and to a certain extent I can agree with that. The torture and process is horrible but....I love leather handbags, shoes and belts! Currently, one of my favorite skins is alligator. I know, I am a bad, bad person. Eugenia Kim's Alligator tail Belt is gorgeous. I love the texture, depth, and shades of color in each belt. It features a peg closure and has a length range of 42"-48½", with a waist range of 33"-41½". Available in winter white, honey and black. Price: $435.
Streets Ahead Belt: A bit bohemian chic, Streets Ahead leather belt is accented with embroidery and bead detailing on the buckle. Since the belt is decorated, pairing it with a simple outfit seems to be best approach to really highlight the beauty of it. I'd like to see what a non-beaded belt buckle would look like. Medecine Douce Belt: I never think to wear a blue belt. I have never had an outfit where I said to myself, "I need a blue belt to bring this all together!" Preppy Potato Maggie Belt: I have a love-hate relationship with belts. For awhile, I was stuck on them and would not wear jeans without one. Then I totally departed from them all together. Recently my husband said "Remember how you use to wear belts before..." And I said "Yeah, why?" And he says "Oh, just thinking about it". All that means is - "You should wear belts again." So I searched for awhile for one - who knew that could be so difficult? If you are like me and searching for belts, check out Preppy Potato. They have an array of styles and price points to satisfy your needs. My favorite is the Canterbury Collection, which has a rugged yet feminine feel to them. The one featured here is the Maggie Buckle. Price: $76.
